Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help ensure smooth daily operations and to develop entry-level managers. You will provide leadership, coaching, and decision-making support while upholding brand standards and delivering great customer service.

The role emphasizes skill development, effective communication, and teamwork to drive performance across shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent customer service abilities

• Basic food safety understanding
• Ability to lift/push objects over 30 lbs

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management associates, assign work, coach shifts, and develop supervisors.
• Step in during the General Manager’s absence and maintain operations.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale.
• Maintain brand standards, store cleanliness, and inviting appearance.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy and daily reporting.
• Address customer needs and build positive, long-term relationships.
• Keep inventory data accurate with spot counts.
