Smoothie King in Matthews, NC seeks an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the GM in leading the store team, delivering an exceptional Guest Experience, and upholding brand standards. The AGM oversees store operations, staffing, cash handling, safety, and community outreach while driving marketing initiatives and KPI performance.

Responsibilities include hiring and developing staff, managing cash, ensuring food safety, and modeling our culture and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, which might include a variety of days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM with hiring, developing, and leading the team at your store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission.
• Utilize operational tools to achieve operational excellence.
• Assist in developing local store marketing plans and community outreach.
• Collaborate with the GM to deliver high-quality smoothies and healthy products; review KPIs and address issues.
• Manage cash activities and ensure deposits are handled properly.
• Ensure food safety guidelines are followed and staff compliance is maintained.
• Champion and embody our culture, mission, and core values.
• Maintain store cleanliness and coordinate equipment maintenance.
