Rigsby’s Smoked Burgers, Wings & Grill in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, coach hospitality teams, and drive guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

The role combines hands-on supervision of hourly staff, scheduling, inventory control, and performance coaching, with a focus on consistent service, safety, and growth opportunities within our expanding brand. Excellent communication and people leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of job-related experience in Food & Beverage or Merchandise operations.
• Demonstrated team management, delegation, and issue resolution skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and comfortably with individuals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of hourly managers and non-management associates.
• Assign work responsibilities, prepare schedules, and ensure all shifts are covered.
• Prepare daily orders and stock units with appropriate product levels.
• Coach hourly managers and conduct on-the-job training for associates.
• Resolve routine issues and refer complex problems to higher levels.
• Provide recommendations for hiring, firing, and advancement of associates.
