Taziki's Café in Birmingham, AL is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to lead daily operations, drive cost controls, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee scheduling, menu knowledge, and staff development while maintaining brand standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1–3 years of management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Profit and Loss statements a plus.
• Proficient in Google Suite and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Review store P&L, assist with scheduling, and meet cost goals under the GM's direction.
• Master menu knowledge and ensure quality customer service.
• Lead guests experience and maintain restaurant standards.
• Set shift tone and give clear directions to staff.
• Supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate crew performance.
• Support or cover stations including kitchen when needed.
• Assist GM with interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Follow cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department standards and safe food handling.
• Adhere to Alcohol Handling policies and proper hygiene and appearance.

Management Positions are Full Time only.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing your store’s P&L, assisting in scheduling, and following the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working
• Setting the tone for the shift, and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their duties
• Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum of 1-3 years management experience
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
