HomeTowne Studios & Suites by Red Roof in Gainesville, GA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team. The position offers a starting wage between $21.00 and $22.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, PTO, 401K with employer match, and opportunities for career growth.

You will assist the Hotel General Manager to maintain property quality, manage Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Laundry and Sales, recruit and lead staff, and ensure

Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years of management experience in extended stay hotels, restaurants, or retail management.
• Ability to lead a team and drive quality of goods and service.
• Understanding of budgeting and P&L concepts is preferred.
• Strong communication and coaching skills for staff development.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Hotel General Manager in inspecting rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and order.
• Assist in managing Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Laundry and Sales.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and leading employees to meet service and quality standards.
• Coach, counsel and motivate all employees as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, local and company regulations.
• Learn to control costs through forecasting, labor control and P&L performance.
• Help manage inventory and ordering to maintain proper stock within budget.
• Assist in daily, weekly and monthly administrative functions including scheduling, labor reporting, night audit verification and payroll.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
