Devon Self Storage is hiring a full-time Assistant General Manager for our store at 4222 Union Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63115, with coverage at Collinsville, IL and Troy, IL locations. You will drive customer experience, handle rentals, payments and daily store operations while supporting the General Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
• Strong customer service skills and communication required.
• Proven ability to work independently when needed and follow through.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance with access to reliable transportation.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic to moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors with adverse conditions.

Responsibilities

• Open, close and secure the store every day.
• Meet and exceed sale goals through rentals, protection plans, and merchandise.
• Ensure products are ordered, received, stocked, priced and displayed timely.
• Assist General Manager with the online auction process; training provided.
• Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
• Deliver a personalized, high-touch customer experience.
• Process payments, balance receipts and deposit drops.
• Perform safety inspections, open/close doors, light maintenance and landscaping.
