Job summary

KBP Foods, the parent company of KBP Brands and KFC, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant operations in Norfolk, VA. You will coach teams, ensure exceptional guest service, and supervise daily activities to drive profitability and compliance with standards.

You will play a pivotal role in training, scheduling, and maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency across all shifts, while benefiting from internal development programs and benefits offered by KBP Foods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as an Assistant General Manager or similar role in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift/move objects, stand/walk for shifts, and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach your team to create a positive work environment.
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve issues quickly.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory and cash handling.
• Ensure adherence to food quality, preparation, and presentation standards.
• Enforce safety and cleanliness standards for a safe guest/employee environment.
• Manage labor and food costs to maximize profitability.
