Job summary

KBP Foods, part of KBP Brands, is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a KFC restaurant. You will lead and coach a team, deliver exceptional guest service, and oversee daily operations to ensure quality, safety, and profitability.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant GM experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility, and the ability to work closing shifts multiple nights per week. KBP Brands offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced franchise network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with P&L responsibility (quick service experience preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to close the restaurant at least two nights per week.
• Physical ability to lift/move heavy objects, stand/walk during shifts, and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach the team to maintain a positive work environment.
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve issues to ensure memorable dining experiences.
• Oversee daily operations including inventory, cash handling, and compliance with policies.
• Maintain KFC standards for food quality, preparation, and presentation.
• Enforce safety and cleanliness standards for a safe guest and employee environment.
• Manage labor and food costs to maximize profitability.
• Anticipate and resolve shift challenges.
