Job summary

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is seeking a dedicated restaurant manager in St. Louis, MO. This full-time role entails overseeing daily operations, managing guests and staff, and ensuring quality service aligned with our Mediterranean-inspired menu.

You’ll review costs, lead a team, and maintain health, safety, and food handling standards. Growth opportunities and a clear path to ownership are highlighted in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1–3 years management experience.
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred.
• Google Suite proficiency and general computer literacy.
• Strong work ethic with a passion for fresh food.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to train, retain, and motivate staff.
• Willingness to obtain Food Manager certification after starting.
• Schedule flexibility and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Review store P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow the GM’s direction to reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge.
• Serve guests and make meaningful connections with them.
• Be responsible for the restaurant and the team working.
• Set the shift tone and give clear, calm directions to staff about duties.
• Mentor staff and manage quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations.
• Support or work stations when needed (kitchen included).
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department Standards throughout each shift.
• Follow proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintain proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.

Management Positions are Full Time only.

Responsibilities:

Your Working Conditions/ Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
