Job summary

Federal Aviation Administration seeks an Assistant General Manager within the Air Traffic Organization, Central Area District Office, to oversee and coordinate all air traffic operations and related support activities in the district. The AGM shares managerial responsibility with the General Manager and acts in their absence when needed.

Candidates must demonstrate specialized experience, including at least one year in FAA 2152 FG-14/FV-J or higher regional or headquarters roles.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience defined as: 1) Must have held an FAA 2152 FG-14/FV-J or above regional or headquarters positions for at least 1 year (52 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and coordinating all air traffic operations and support activities within the assigned District.
• Act in the absence of the General Manager as required and report to the GM.
