Job summary

Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) / Jiffy Lube is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager to drive store performance, coach a team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll support the GM, oversee daily operations, and model J Team Service Standards while performing lube services.

The role emphasizes leading by example, safety compliance, and ownership of operations when the GM is away, with opportunities for growth in a fast‑paced automotive service environment.

What You’ll Do (Your Impact Matters!)

As anAssistant General Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of store operations — supporting your General Manager, boosting performance, and ensuring every guest leaves happy.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment
• Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
• Helping manageinventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
• Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
• Leading by example usingJ Team Service Standardswhile performing lube services
• Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism
• EnsuringEnvironmental, Health & Safety compliance
• Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away

Requirements (What You Bring)

• Valid driver's license
• At least1 year of retail management experience(Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.)
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)
• Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
• Comfortable working in enclosed or semi‑outdoor environments
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
