Job summary

Jiffy Lube, a Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) partner, is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager to drive daily operations, boost sales, and coach a talented team. You’ll focus on guest experiences, safety, and store performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will support the General Manager, lead by example, and own store operations when the GM is away. A hands-on leader with strong coaching and problem-solving skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.).
• Basic math skills (percentages).
• Clear communication skills (written & verbal).
• Comfort with computers and completing required forms.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ lbs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and maintain a clean, safe, and operationally excellent environment.
• Oversee cash handling and POS procedures.
• Assist with inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and schedule team members.
• Lead by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services.
• Create a positive guest experience and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety compliance.
• Take ownership of operations when the GM is away.

• Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
• Helping manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
• Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
• Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services
• Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism
• Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance
• Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away

Requirements (What You Bring)

• Clear communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
• Comfortable working in enclosed or semi-outdoor environments
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
