Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) / Jiffy Lube seeks a High‑Energy Assistant General Manager to support daily operations, drive sales, and lead a team delivering exceptional guest experiences. If you love coaching people, solving problems, and building a winning store culture, this is your role.

You’ll oversee cash handling, inventory, scheduling, and safety compliance while partnering with the GM to ensure top performance and customer satisfaction. This is a full‑time, on‑site leadership position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail management experience in automotive, fast‑food, retail, or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• Strong communication and math skills for daily reporting and cash handling.
• Comfortable using computers, internet tools, and required forms.
• Physical ability to stand long shifts and lift 50+ lbs., in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store; maintain a clean, safe, and operationally excellent environment.
• Oversee cash handling and POS procedures.
• Manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and schedule team members.
• Lead by example using service standards while performing services.
• Create a positive guest experience and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure EH&S compliance and take ownership when GM is away.

What You'll Do (Your Impact Matters!)

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of store operations -- supporting your General Manager, boosting performance, and ensuring every guest leaves happy.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment
• Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
• Helping manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
• Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
• Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services
• Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism
• Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance
• Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away

Requirements (What You Bring)

• Valid driver's license
• At least 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.)
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)
• Clear communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
• Comfortable working in enclosed or semi-outdoor environments
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
