Jiffy Lube - Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead daily store operations, coach the team, and drive guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. You’ll support the General Manager, manage schedules, inventory, and safety compliance to ensure smooth performance.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership, at least 1 year of retail management experience in automotive/retail, strong communication, and the ability to use computers and POS systems.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Strong math and data entry skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to operate computers and POS systems.
• Able to stand long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Oversee cash handling and POS procedures.
• Assist with inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and schedule team members.
• Lead by example using service standards while performing services.
• Create a positive guest experience and resolve concerns.
• Ensure EH&S compliance and operation when GM is away.

What You'll Do (Your Impact Matters!)

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of store operations -- supporting your General Manager, boosting performance, and ensuring every guest leaves happy.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment
• Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
• Helping manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
• Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
• Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services
• Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism
• Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance
• Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away

Requirements (What You Bring)

• Valid driver's license
• At least 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.)
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)
• Clear communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
• Comfortable working in enclosed or semi-outdoor environments
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
