Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the restaurant management team in a fast-paced, sports-centric setting. You’ll drive guest satisfaction by delivering excellent service and coordinating daily operations.

As AGM you’ll train and coach staff, participate in hiring, ensure staffing levels, and work with the GM on marketing and safety initiatives. The role requires flexibility to work up to 50 hours per week and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Leadership and coaching experience in a restaurant setting.
• Ability to supervise and motivate restaurant personnel.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant FOH and BOH – assist the General Manager in leading the restaurant management team.
• Instruct, train, coach and develop the restaurant team to recognize and reward achievement.

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities/Qualifications

Manage restaurant FOH and BOH – Assist the General Manager in leading the restaurant management team.

Instructs, trains, coaches and develops the restaurant team to create an environment where enthusiastic people are recognized and rewarded for achieving organizational and personal goals.

Assists the General Manager with the overall recruiting and hiring of hourly employees.

Ensures the appropriate staffing of restaurant team to maximize customer service and sales efforts.

Works to maximizes sales and profits within the restaurant.

Responsible for all cash controls and enforcement of Company policies.

In conjunction with the General Manager, prepares and executes local store marketing, merchandising, sales and promotional efforts to increase sales volume and guest traffic.

Assures that all safety and security procedures are followed within the restaurant.

Resolves customer complaints; trains team in resolving restaurant issues.

Has general knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation.

High school or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree a plus.

Leadership skills - ability to supervise, train and motivate restaurant personnel.

2-3 yrs. supervisory or management experience from a restaurant: familiar with FOH and HOH/Kitchen management.

Ability to work with a high degree of independence and discretion.

Ability to work a 50-hour work week.

Ability to work flexible hours.

Good written, verbal, math and interpersonal skills.

Valid drivers license with reliable transportation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
