Job summary

Cafe Zupas in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant General Manager who champions a strong work‑life balance with no Sundays, a set two‑day off schedule, and a quarterly bonus plan. The role offers growth through a defined career path and six raises en route to General Manager.

You will oversee daily restaurant operations, mentor teammates, and foster authentic guest relationships while ensuring smooth, well‑run shifts in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of leadership experience in restaurant or retail settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality/Restaurant management is a plus.
• Available to work a five‑day set schedule.
• Experience mentoring a team.
• Detail‑oriented, growth‑minded and a self‑starter.
• Enthusiastic, positive and genuine.
• Learns quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant (front or back of house).
• Develop team members by providing direction and feedback.
• Cultivate a culture of positivity and gratitude within the team.
