Moby Dick House of Kabob is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at our Springfield, VA location. You will work closely with the General Manager to develop the team, drive guest satisfaction, and achieve store goals.

Ideal candidates bring leadership in a fast-paced restaurant setting, a focus on sales growth, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to guests every day.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM in growing sales using local restaurant marketing.
• Assist the GM with identifying and grooming talent using Moby Dick Development tools.
• Take on an area of responsibility to assist your GM with running the store.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance are up to date in your store.
• Assist the GM with controlling costs including COGS, labor, and supplies.
• Maintain guest satisfaction with average ratings around 4.5 stars.
• Model and uphold the brand's values in-store.
• Support hiring, firing, and compensation decisions.

Job Summary:

Are you a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment? Moby Dick House of Kabob is looking for a high-energy Assistant General Manager to support daily operations, develop teams, and help drive restaurant success. In this role, you’ll work alongside the General Manager to ensure smooth operations, train and inspire team members, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You'll play a key role in team development, performance management, and hitting key business goals. We want to hear from you if you're ready to grow, lead, and bring the energy daily!

Schedule Expectations:

• Minimum of 50 hours per week over a minimum of 5 days. Must include at least one weekend day per week.
• Schedule will fluctuate depending on the needs of the business. As an AGM, you are expected to be available in times of need. Work with your General Manager (GM) & Area Director (AD) to ensure your store is running as smoothly as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the GM in growing Sales using Local Restaurant Marketing
• Assist the GM with identifying and grooming talent in your store using Moby Dick Development tools
• Take on an area of responsibility (People, Product, or Place) to assist your GM with running the store.
• Ensure all repair and maintenance (R&M) is up to date in your store
• Assist the GM with controlling costs. (Cost of Goods Sold, Labor, Supplies, etc.)
• Ensure guest satisfaction is top-notch at your store. Achieving and maintaining an average rating of 4.5 star reviews on Google, Yelp & any other prominent site
• Ensure the culture in your store represents Moby Dick's Values
• Assist your GM with hiring, firing & rate changes for your store
