Job summary

Moby Dick House of Kabob is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager to support daily operations, develop teams, and drive restaurant success. You will work with the General Manager to ensure smooth service and guest experience, and to lead by example during peak hours.

In this role you will grow sales through local marketing, coach staff, manage costs, and uphold the brand values across the store, while maintaining high standards and a positive, guest-centric culture.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Ability to develop and mentor staff.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM in growing sales via local restaurant marketing
• Identify and groom talent in-store using Moby Dick Development tools
• Own an area of responsibility (People, Product, or Place) to help running the store
• Keep R&M work up to date in the store
• Help control costs: COGS, labor, and supplies
• Maintain guest satisfaction with 4.5+ star reviews on major sites
• Uphold Moby Dick’s values and store culture
• Assist GM with hiring, firing and rate changes for your store

Job Summary:

In this role, you’ll work alongside the General Manager to ensure smooth operations, train and inspire team members, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. Schedule Expectations:

• Minimum of 50 hours per week over a minimum of 5 days. Must include at least one weekend day per week.
• Schedule will fluctuate depending on the needs of the business. As an AGM, you are expected to be available in times of need. Work with your General Manager (GM) & Area Director (AD) to ensure your store is running as smoothly as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the GM in growing Sales using Local Restaurant Marketing
• Assist the GM with identifying and grooming talent in your store using Moby Dick Development tools
• Take on an area of responsibility (People, Product, or Place) to assist your GM with running the store.
• Ensure all repair and maintenance (R&M) is up to date in your store
• Assist the GM with controlling costs. (Cost of Goods Sold, Labor, Supplies, etc.)
• Ensure guest satisfaction is top-notch at your store. Achieving and maintaining an average rating of 4.5 star reviews on Google, Yelp & any other prominent site
• Ensure the culture in your store represents Moby Dick’s Values
• Assist your GM with hiring, firing & rate changes for your store
