Dave & Buster's Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead both front-of-house and back-of-house operations under the guidance of the General Manager.

You will drive strategic initiatives, motivate teams, manage costs, and elevate guest experiences in a fast-paced entertainment-focused restaurant. The role requires 5+ years in hospitality, strong business sense, and a proven ability to manage complex operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Restaurant/Hospitality experience.
• 21+ years of age.
• Proficient in managing cost of goods sold and labor.
• Strong business acumen.
• Ability to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience.
• Willing to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• Can operate in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distractions.

Responsibilities

• Promotes positive employee relations and delegates managerial duties to maintain high staff morale.
• Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control costs to meet or exceed budgets.
• Ensure staff training programs are executed effectively.

THE ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER: provides overall leadership, supervision, and direction on strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results for selected front-of-house and back-of-house areas under the guidance of the General Manager.

• Not afraid to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions.
