Job summary

Cafe Zupas is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with a focus on service quality and scheduling. This role offers a defined career path, with six raises toward a General Manager position, and a generous work-life balance.

In addition to no Sundays, the position features a quarterly bonus plan, 401K, and full benefits, including medical, dental, and vision. You will develop a high-performing team and cultivate a culture of hospitality and gratitude.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of leadership experience in the restaurant or retail industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality/Restaurant management is a plus
• Available to work a five day set schedule
• Detail-oriented, growth minded, and a self-starter
• Enthusiastic, positive, and genuine

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant (front or back of house).
• Develop team members by providing direction and feedback.
• Cultivate a culture of positivity and gratitude within the team.
• Form authentic relationships with guests.
• Coordinate the team to run happy and well-organized shifts.
