Cheba Hut - Remaklus in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment where culture and community matter. This role offers growth opportunities and a chance to influence guest experiences daily.

You will support the General Manager, coach and develop staff, manage scheduling and costs, ensure food quality and safety, drive sales, and maintain brand standards while delivering outstanding hospitality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong leadership to motivate and develop a team.
• Experience with food cost control and labor management.
• Food Handler's or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Oversee scheduling, labor management, and shift coverage.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness to uphold brand standards.
• Drive sales performance and assist in meeting revenue and cost-control goals.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Step in as acting General Manager in the GM's absence.
