Job summary

Luna Grill is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support GMs, coach teams, and uphold operational excellence across California, Texas, and Arizona.

Lead from the front, develop people, and ensure guest experiences meet Luna Grill standards while maintaining hands-on involvement in BOH and FOH.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience in high-volume settings.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Strong leadership and people-development skills.
• Excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations including opening, peak service, and closing procedures.
• Work in BOH weekly and as needed; cross-trained in BOH positions.
• Manage schedules, breaks, and team coverage to optimize service and labor.
• Ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and presentation meet standards.
• Coach, train, and develop team members through feedback and performance guidance.
• Assist with payroll, scheduling, inventory, ordering, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally with a hospitality-first mindset.
• Assist the GM with labor and food cost control.
• Participate in hiring, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Communicate company updates and operational expectations to the team.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when the GM is absent.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience (high-volume or fast‑casual) required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people‑development skills
• Excellent guest service and problem‑solving abilities
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and calm under pressure
• Solid understanding of FOH & BOH operations
• Tech‑savvy with POS systems, KDS, Dayforce, and Microsoft Office
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
