Job summary

Hampton Inn Jacksonville I-295 East/Baymeadows is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager to guide daily operations and uphold the beloved Hamptonality standard. You will partner with the General Manager to lead a diverse team, coach staff, and ensure seamless service at the Jacksonville property.

As AGM, you will oversee front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance operations, manage guest feedback, support budgeting, and maintain Hilton brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hotel supervisory or management experience (Front Office or Housekeeping management preferred).
• Hilton brand experience is a major plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.

About the Role

Are you a passionate hospitality leader ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Assistant General Manager to help lead our team and deliver the exceptional "Hamptonality" our guests know and love.

As the AGM, you will be the right hand to the General Manager, overseeing daily operations, coaching a dedicated team, and ensuring our property maintains the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments.
• Develop the Team: Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and mentoring team members to foster a positive work environment.
• Drive Guest Satisfaction: Maintain high guest service scores by proactively interacting with guests, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring the Hilton 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is upheld.
• Manage Financials: Assist the GM with budgeting, inventory control, labor management, and driving property profitability.
• Ensure Brand Standards: Maintain strict compliance with Hilton’s brand standards, safety regulations, and QA inspection requirements.
• Step In as Leader: Act as the primary leader on-site in the absence of the General Manager.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 2+ years of hotel supervisory or management experience (Front Office or Housekeeping management preferred). Hilton brand experience is a major plus!
• Skills: Strong leadership, operational problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems, knowledgeable in P.E.P is a must.
• Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
