Job summary

Zunzibar is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting in Jacksonville. The AGM will oversee front and back-of-house operations, drive guest satisfaction, and uphold elevated but welcoming service standards.

You will hire, train, and mentor staff, manage scheduling and costs, and actively contribute to creating a vibrant, professional, and fun workplace from day one.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Strong leadership skills—you know how to motivate and hold a team accountable.
• A deep understanding of hospitality and guest experience.
• Ability to stay organized, adaptable, and calm under pressure.
• Experience with both FOH and BOH operations is a plus.
• A personality that brings energy, professionalism, and positivity.
