Mister Car Wash is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Training (AGMIT) in Michigan to accelerate leadership development within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll work with a Certified Trainer to learn daily operations, drive performance, and coach staff toward delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This accelerated program prepares you to step into the Assistant General Manager role and eventually lead your own location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience supervising a team in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience in high-volume retail or service operations with a focus on delivering quality customer experiences.
• Ability to motivate others, coach performance, and drive results in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to adapt in a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Learn daily operations basics, from opening/closing to safety and smooth site flow.
• Understand performance data and make decisions that improve results.
• Develop teams through coaching, performance management, and staffing support.
• Prepare to advance into the Assistant General Manager role across Mister Car Wash locations.

We are hiring for an Assistant General Manager in Training (AGMIT) -- this accelerated development program is designed to prepare you for the Assistant General Manager position. In this role, you’ll work closely with an experienced Certified Trainer to:

• Support staffing, recruitment, and employee relations.

You are a great fit for the Assistant General Manager in Training position if you:

• Bring proven leadership experience—at least 1 year leading a team, supervising shifts, or managing people in a customer facing environment.
• Understand high-volume retail or service operations, including how to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences.

• Excel at coaching and developing others, giving clear feedback, building confidence, and helping team members grow into new responsibilities.
