Tailwind Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a Prep Cook for our catering team in Jackson, Wyoming.

In this full-time role you will prepare and cook a variety of dishes, follow prep lists, measure ingredients, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen to deliver high-quality meals for travelers. The ideal candidate can stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment, passes a background check to obtain airport badge, and participates in a paid training program.

• Provides quality food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards

As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that they are of high quality and meet our customers' expectations. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides quality food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
• Following prep lists created by the management team
• Measuring ingredients and seasonings
• Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible
• Supervising food and cooling room temperatures
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment
• Prepares, washes, and cuts food to be cooked
• Restock and replenish product and inventory supplies
• Interact with customers in a positive and upbeat manner
• Work with a Team to provide the best possible customer experience
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

• Accountability for the ingredients prepped measuring up to the expectations of management
• Comprehension and organization to follow direct orders, recipes and to correctly prepare dishes to the standards of the restaurant
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, such as knife techniques for chopping, slicing, cutting and dicing
• Ability to stand in one place for hours at a time, handle extreme heat and work shifts
