Job summary

Workstream is looking for an Assistant General Manager in Glendale, Arizona, to oversee front-of-house operations in a casual restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences while collaborating with the General Manager. Responsibilities include maintaining high service standards and profitability. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, proficiency in POS systems, and strong leadership skills. Availability during evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are mandatory.
• Formal culinary training is preferred.
• Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful operation of our restaurant. Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front‑of‑house operations. Your main objective will be to maintain exceptional guest experiences, uphold high service standards, and drive overall profitability.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• A High School Diploma is preferred.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are required.
• Formal culinary training is preferred.
• Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
