Job summary

Bar Louie in Friendswood, TX is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee front-of-house operations and work closely with the General Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences and high service standards.

Responsibilities include leading the team, maintaining service quality, and driving profitability while managing open-evening, holiday, and weekend shifts. A strong emphasis on communication and team leadership is required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year in casual restaurant operations is required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are required.
• Formal culinary training is preferred.
• Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant environment.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful operation of our restaurant. Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front-of-house operations. Your main objective will be to maintain exceptional guest experiences, uphold high service standards, and drive overall profitability.
