Role Description

The Assistant General Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Chandler, AZ, responsible for supporting the General Manager in daily restaurant operations. This role oversees front-of-house and back-of-house activities, including supervising team members, coordinating shift coverage, and ensuring food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met. The Assistant General Manager helps drive exceptional guest service, manages cash handling and inventory processes, and supports scheduling, training, and performance feedback for staff. This role also assists with implementing local marketing initiatives, monitoring sales and cost controls, and maintaining a relaxed, fun, and inclusive environment aligned with Cheba Hut’s brand. The Assistant General Manager acts as a key leader on the floor, modeling positive behavior, resolving guest concerns, and helping create a space where both team members and guests enjoy spending time.
