Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead store operations, coach a 10–20 person team, and drive profitability through strong P&L analysis and GAS3 selling. You will manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs while maintaining exceptional customer service.

The role requires effective communication, scheduling, safety leadership, and ability to work weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a team of 10–20 in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong financial and business acumen with profitability focus.
• Ability to review and analyze profit and loss statements.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze P&L statements to drive profitability.
• Lead DIY services and ensure high customer service standards.
• Coach and manage team on floor, phone, safety, and tasks.
• Schedule weekly staffing and manage store operations.
• Coordinate with management on training and process improvements.
