Job summary

Layne’s Chicken Fingers is seeking an Assistant General Manager to serve as the right hand to the General Manager, overseeing daily operations and supporting the team to deliver an excellent guest experience.

You will lead staffing, training, and development, drive scheduling, inventory, and food quality while maintaining a fun, fast-paced culture that values core brand standards and guest satisfaction. This role offers growth opportunities as we expand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience (fast food or drive-thru preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• ServSafe certification a plus.

Join Layne’s Chicken Fingers, the Texas-born chicken finger restaurant since 1994! We’re growing fast and looking for an Assistant General Manager to help lead one of our locations and support the General Manager in creating an amazing team and guest experience.

About The Role

As an Assistant GM, you’ll be the right hand to the General Manager—helping oversee daily operations, train and develop team members, and ensure every guest leaves happy. You’ll thrive in a fun, fast-paced culture that takes food seriously—but not ourselves.
