Taco Bell in Arlington, VA is looking for an Assistant General Manager to lead by example, uphold brand standards, and inspire a dynamic team. You'll train, coach, and recognize top performers while handling daily operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence, making key decisions, and driving excellence.

This role includes a 50-hour week with 40 hours at regular pay and 10 hours at time and a half.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience
• Assist with P&L management by following cash control procedures, inventory, labor, and reviewing financial reports
• Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources

• Lead efforts in individual and team recognition, collaboration, and motivation
• Identify and recruit exceptional talent, supporting the GM in the hiring process

About the Job:

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be at the heart of our restaurant's success, supporting the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and inspiring your team. You'll lead by example, training, coaching, and recognizing your team to deliver unforgettable customer experiences. When your team shines, so do you! In this dynamic role, you'll take charge of daily operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence, making key decisions and driving the team toward excellence. The Day-to-Day:

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards, and uphold Core excellence. Take charge of restaurant operations in the GM's absence.
• Collaborate with the GM in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback. Address employee relations issues as they arise, determine immediate resolutions, or elevate to the GM when necessary.
• Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Team Members, while driving a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Act like an owner by assisting with Profit & Loss management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management.
• Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance.
• Support the GM in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed.

The range for this role is $52,000-65,000/year. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and experience.
