Lennar, a leading homebuilder in the United States, is seeking a Director, Assistant General Counsel. This pivotal role will provide business-oriented legal support on real estate matters including land acquisition, development, and construction. The successful candidate will have 10–15 years of legal experience and will oversee the legal aspects of transactions while mentoring the legal team.
Compensation ranges from $165,500 to $206,900 annually, with additional benefits including bonuses, robust health insurance, and a 401(k) with a company match.

This role is a key member of Lennar’s in‑house legal team, providing practical, business‑oriented legal support on land acquisition, land development, entitlement, title, construction, and related real estate matters for one or more divisions or regions. The Director works closely with division leadership and cross‑functional teams to structure, negotiate, and close transactions, manage legal risk, support internal approvals, oversee outside counsel where appropriate, and help move communities from deal evaluation through closing and development execution.
This is primarily a sedentary office position requiring the candidate to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
Base salary range: $165,500–$206,900 annually, subject to adjustment based on qualifications, geographic pay, and operational considerations.
