The Assistant General Counsel (Contracts) is responsible for assisting the Associate General Counsel (Contracts) (AGC) in all functions of the contracting responsibilities for and on behalf of West Virginia United Health System, Inc., and its member organizations, including the physician practice plans associated with the WVU School of Medicine, WVUHS Medical Group, and other affiliated organizations as necessary. More specifically, the Assistant General Counsel (Contracts) will assist in the creation, review, negotiating, and editing of contracts and other forms of agreements, and will provide legal advice and guidance to internal customers regarding various contracting documents such as leases, affiliation agreements, professional services agreements, clinical trial agreements, facility use agreements, and similar contracting and documentation of arrangements. The Assistant General Counsel (Contracts) is also responsible for other day‑to‑day duties as assigned by the AGC (Contracts).
