Job summary

Larson Maddox is seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel for a leading global hospitality organization. You will serve as a trusted legal partner across operations, finance, HR, marketing and risk management, handling a broad range of commercial matters.

Candidates must hold a J.D. and be barred in good standing, with at least six years of experience and demonstrated expertise in financial M&A, lending, and complex contracts.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and barred in good standing.
• Minimum of six years of legal experience.
• Experience with Financial M&A Transactions and Lending.
• Demonstrated expertise negotiating, drafting, and managing complex commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted legal partner to business units across operations, human resources, finance, marketing, risk management, engineering, sustainability, business development, and customer experience functions.
• Lead the review, drafting, negotiation, and administration of a wide variety of commercial agreements, including service contracts, vendor agreements, consulting arrangements, construction-related contracts, marketing partnerships, and other strategic business transactions.
• Provide counsel on corporate governance matters and support ongoing regulatory and compliance initiatives.
• Advise leadership on financing arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and other corporate transactions while helping ensure compliance with existing contractual and financial obligations.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership regarding significant legal risks, business objectives, and company-wide initiatives.
• Manage external legal advisors and support additional projects and responsibilities as business needs evolve.
