Job summary

Margaritaville at Sea is seeking an Assistant Galley Operations Manager to lead the F&B team in meeting USPH standards and optimizing galley performance aboard our cruise vessel.

Ideal candidate has 3–5 years of cruise ship management experience, a hospitality-focused degree, and strong leadership and English communication skills to ensure efficient, compliant operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• Relevant ship experience preferred.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
• 3–5 years progressive managerial experience on cruise ships.
• Ability to manage the financial aspects of a stewarding operation.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain galley equipment and train F&B crew per USPH.
• Oversee public health standards across galleys and outlets.
• Lead galley operations with Exec Chef guidance.
• Manage equipment and chemical budgets; monitor inventories.
• Oversee ordering, loading, storage and delivery of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety rules.
• Collaborate with Hotel Director and Safety Officer on ship safety.
