Job Description

The Assistant Front Office Manager will work closely with the Front Office Manager to oversee all aspects of guest experience, including the Omni Select Guest Program, front office systems and controls, and the development of front office staff. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts is required.

Responsibilities

  1. Handle all training for associates to ensure Omni standards are met.
  2. Maintain ongoing communication with all department managers, especially with Night Audit staff each evening/morning.
  3. Address guest complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
  4. Be familiar with hotel computer systems for training, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  5. Complete weekly supply inventories to maintain adequate stock levels.
  6. Manage rate discrepancy reports and implement necessary adjustments.
  7. Assign arrivals for the following day, including VIPs, special requests, etc.
  8. Prepare group information sheets.
  9. Complete check-out procedures and balance reports.
  10. Perform daily credit checks.
  11. Adhere to all systems and controls related to the front office and other responsibilities.
  12. Promote knowledge of marketing programs within the company and hotel.
  13. Collaborate with the Loyalty Ambassador to ensure tracking and servicing of select guests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts.
  • Customer service orientation, multitasking ability, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Four-year college degree, preferably in hospitality.
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
