Essential Functions

• Understand the Riverview Gardens School District and Activities Department mission, vision, and goals
• Maintain professionalism by acting within district, MSHSAA, and SNL guidelines
• Organize all aspects of the program, complete administrative duties, maintain facilities/equipment, submit reports, and cooperate with administration
• Teach fundamentals of the sport while fostering team improvement and growth
• Promote a K-12 development plan through community outreach, camps, clinics, strength training, and work with middle and elementary school coaches
• Perform additional duties related to managing a K-12 athletic program

Qualifications

• Meet MSHSAA Head Coaching Requirements
• Understand MSHSAA rules for sport and coaching requirements
• Considerable coaching and/or playing experience
• Knowledge of rules and technical aspects of the sport
• Ability to teach individual and team fundamentals
• Successful background check
