ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Understand the Riverview Gardens School District and Activities Department mission, vision, and goals.
2. Maintain professionalism by acting within the guidelines of Riverview Gardens School District, MSHSAA, and the SNL.
3. Organize all aspects of the program, complete administrative duties, maintain facilities/equipment, submit reports, and cooperate with administration.
4. Teach fundamentals of the sport while fostering team improvement and growth.
5. Promote a K-12 development plan through community outreach, camps, clinics, strength training, conditioning programs, and collaboration with middle and elementary school coaches.
6. Perform additional duties related to managing a K-12 athletic program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Meet MSHSAA Head Coaching Requirements.
2. Understand MSHSAA rules for sport and coaching requirements.
3. Have considerable coaching and/or playing experience.
4. Possess extensive knowledge of the rules and technical aspects of the sport.
5. Ability to teach individual and team fundamentals.
6. Successfully complete a background check by Human Resources.
