The role ensures compliance with facility policies and governmental regulations while leading staff and coordinating activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDM certification, a food service sanitation certificate, and have experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

Job description

• The Assistant Food Service Supervisor is a full time position responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, budgeting, inventory, ordering,and physical management of the dietary departments employees and equipment that shall be maintained in accordance with the facility’s established policies and in compliant with all governmental regulations.

• Must have current certification as a Certified Dietary manager . (CDM).

• Knowledgeable in Food Service Sanitation (must have food service sanitation certificate)

• Must have experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility

• Able to assess the nutritional care of residents and address residents nutritional risk

• Responsible forinitial, quarterly, annual, and significant change assessments

• Must be familiar with the MDS and Care plans

• Detail oriented
