JobSquad Solutions Team is seeking an Assistant Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager in Alma, GA. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing HACCP and GMPs, and maintaining documentation for safe and high-quality food products.

The candidate will oversee pest control, traceability, recalls, and staff training, working closely with QA, HACCP teams, and external audits.

Qualifications

• Must have five years of experience in the food industry.
• Experience writing, implementing, verifying, and maintaining food safety and quality procedures.
• FAIR understanding of HACCP, GMPs, labeling, allergen control, and prerequisite programs.

Responsabilités

• Serve as liaison between plant and FSIS; stay current with USDA/FSIS regulations.
• Oversee HACCP-based food safety plans and internal audits.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement CAPAs.
• Maintain pest control programs and product traceability.
• Develop and update food safety manuals and SOPs.
• Coordinate food safety and quality training for staff.
• Review export/library requirements for product export.
• Oversee laboratory functions and environmental programs.
