Job summary

Troon is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for Fiddler's Creek Golf Club in Naples, FL. The role combines operational leadership, hospitality excellence, and hands-on execution across club dining venues and events.

The position requires 2–5 years of F&B or hospitality experience, supervisory skills, strong English communication, and flexibility for weekends and events. Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless FOH/BOH coordination.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of progressive food and beverage or hospitality experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of front-of-house operations and inventory controls.
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and special events.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with a strong hospitality-focused vocabulary and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations across dining venues, bar service, member events, private functions, and social activities.
• Actively participate in service execution and member interaction during peak periods.
• Ensure timely opening, shift transition, and closing procedures.
• Monitor service flow and staffing levels.
• Assist with beverage inventory management, receiving, invoice verification, and cost control initiatives.
• Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
• Supervise dining, patio, and guest-facing operations.
• Train and coach service staff on hospitality standards.
• Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH operations.
• Lead by example through active floor presence.
• Support onboarding, training, and staff development.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards are maintained.
• Assist with scheduling, labor tracking, reporting, and operational documentation.
