Job summary

Fiddlers Creek, located in Naples, FL, seeks a driven part-time Server for a seasonal position (6 months or less) within Troon’s hospitality team. You will greet guests, describe specials, take orders, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (1-3 months experience acceptable), ability to read and speak English, and knowledge of POS systems. Valid driver license may be needed for range operations; healthcare and 401(k) benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide immediate attention upon seating.
• Describe daily specials and menu items; suggest items when appropriate.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver promptly after preparation.
• Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and restock as needed.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintain organized workstation and complete side work.
• Set up and break down stations each shift.
• Handle checks and cash; use POS system as required.
• Follow standards for greeting, service and delivering orders.
• Provide tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Cross-train in bartending service.

Education

Role Type

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Essential Duties

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties
• Setting up and breaking down golf stations every shift
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires to be cross trained in bartending service
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Valid driver license required (driver license is required when operating the picker for range balls, golf cart)
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.
