Job summary

Skytop Lodge is seeking an Assistant floral designer | decorator to design and prepare fresh floral arrangements for guest rooms, weddings, and private events. You will maintain the floral shop and assist with holiday decorating across the Lodge and Inn.

The role includes preparing for weddings, managing live plants, and assisting with phone orders in a busy hotel setting. A PA Driver’s License and strong communication skills are required, with weekends/holidays on schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of floral design and decorating experience preferred (training available).
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Valid PA Driver’s License required to operate in this role.

Responsibilities

• Decorate public hotel areas for holidays, theme weekends, and special events.
• Maintain live plants at the Lodge, Inn and cottages.
• Prepare for weddings and assist with floral arrangements for guests and events.
• Perform basic flower shop duties: clean containers, work area, and cooler; answer phone and take orders.
• Ensure flowers stay in good condition with proper temperature, watering, and storage.
