Job summary

Flexjet LLC is seeking an Assistant Flight Operations Supervisor to assist the on-duty flight supervisor in daily flight operations management. The role involves reviewing aircraft performance calculations and supporting the Owners Services and Mission Validation Departments as a technical resource.

The position requires strong knowledge of FARs (Part 91/121/135), a commercial pilot rating with 500+ hours TT, and the ability to work with the Chief Pilot and fleet program managers on

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred; 2–4 years in aviation environment
• Strong understanding of FARs Part 91/121/135
• Commercial pilot with at least 500 hours TT
• Familiarity with SOPs, Flight Operations Manual, and CFRs applicable to Company operations

Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the on duty flight supervisor in the daily management of flight operations.
• Review aircraft performance calculations
• Support the Owners Services Department and Mission Validation Department as a technical resource
• Assist the Chief Pilot, Assistant Chief Pilot, and fleet program managers with aircraft specific projects
• Assist with the review of MEL(s) and other Maintenance inquiries.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Associate’s Degree, in business or an aviation related field preferred; 2-4 years’ experience within an aviation environment; equivalent combination of education and experience
• Have a strong understanding of FAR’s in regard to Part 91, 121, or 135 airline operations
• Must be a commercial rated pilot with at least 500 hours TT
• The position requires a high degree of knowledge and understanding of the Company including Standard Operating Procedures, the Flight Operations Manual, and the Code of Federal Regulations applicable to Company operations

• Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required
• Candidate should work well and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business
• Must be detail oriented, highly self-motivated, and able to work productively independently or within a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft software applications and the aptitude to learn company specific software
• An Assistant Flight Operations Supervisor will be required to work a flexible schedule to include night and weekend duties
