MV Transportation is seeking an Assistant Fleet Maintenance Manager to assist the Fleet Maintenance Manager with managing the day-to-day maintenance of CNG and propane vehicles. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance personnel, organizing the maintenance yard, and performing administrative duties. The Assistant Fleet Maintenance Manager will supervise maintenance operations during shifts when the Fleet Maintenance Manager is not present.

Qualifications

• Must be CDL licensed
• Strong supervisory experience; able to supervise 30+ personnel
• Ability to track and control parts inventories, vendors, and suppliers
• Ability to prioritize and manage work schedules, projects, and assignments
• Experience managing financial aspects of a fleet maintenance operation
• Effective communication skills in written and oral formats
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook
• Technical competence in light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance
• Initiative, professionalism, candor, and tact
• Minimum of three (3) years of fleet/vehicle maintenance supervision experience
• ASE Certification for truck/transit (preferred)
• Diesel experience required

Starting salary range: $70,000 - $82,000
