Multi-Site Assistant Maintenance Manager - The Catherine + Junction Santa Monica

This position supports two sites, totaling 346 units, and involves leading maintenance operations to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the properties.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead by example, embodying Bozzuto’s core values and fostering a positive team culture.
• Provide excellent resident care through prompt follow-up and meticulous completion of service tickets.
• Resolve maintenance issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Manage make-ready and apartment turnover processes efficiently.
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs to preserve building value.
• Maintain building beauty and safety through general upkeep, grounds maintenance, and snow removal.
• Ensure peak operational efficiency of all property systems.
• Adhere to safety standards and building codes, maintaining an accident-free environment.
• Participate in weekend and emergency on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trades, facilities, or residential maintenance.
• Supervisory experience and leadership skills preferred.
• HVAC, EPA, or NAPE certification required.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA, and MSDS protocols.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical trades, and appliance repair.
• Basic skills in carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Experience with complex mechanical systems is a plus.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $73,000—$75,000 USD. Benefits include health & wellness coverage, paid leave, 401k with company match, tuition reimbursement, and career development programs.

Additional Information
