Job summary

The Dundee Township Park District is seeking an Assistant Fitness Supervisor to help oversee daily fitness center operations, support staff, and ensure our members enjoy a safe, welcoming, and high-quality fitness environment.

You’ll contribute to planning programs, events, and member activities, while leading a team of attendants and trainers, maintaining equipment, and handling member services with a professional, enthusiastic approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field.
• Knowledge of health, wellness, and fitness equipment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the fitness center.
• Supervise and support fitness staff and trainers.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new team members.
• Plan and implement fitness programs and member activities.
• Promote positive member relations and high-quality service.
• Monitor equipment and facility safety.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Assist with staff meetings and trainings.
• Manage membership records and admin tasks.
