Dundee Township Park District is seeking a Fitness Center Attendant to create a welcoming, safe exercise environment. You will greet members, assist with equipment, and promote healthy habits while upholding district safety policies.

The role emphasizes customer service, basic fitness instruction, and coordination with the Fitness Center Supervisor. It is a part‑time, hourly position requiring weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifikationen

• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and exercise techniques.
• Familiarity with standard fitness equipment.
• Clear communication skills; Spanish-speaking ability a plus.

Department: Recreation Part-Time: Hourly – Non-exempt Do you love fitness and helping others reach their goals? The Fitness Center Attendant will create and strengthen relationships with members that add value to their membership and enhance their sense of belonging and community within the facility. Under the direction of the Fitness Center Supervisor, the attendant provides a positive and welcoming exercise experience while maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

• Representing DTPD with professionalism and excellent customer service

What You Bring

• First Aid/CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months
• Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and exercise techniques
• Familiarity with standard fitness equipment
• Physical ability to demonstrate equipment use and proper exercise form
• Clear communication skills: Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
• Willingness to attend trainings and follow all district safety and conduct policies
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, based on availability
