Job summary

Dundee Township Park District is seeking a passionate Water Aerobics Instructor to lead engaging classes at our aquatic facilities. You will teach techniques, ensure safety, adapt movements for all fitness levels, and create a fun, welcoming environment for participants.

Ideal candidates have swimming or fitness experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and Aquatic Exercise Association certification or willingness to obtain it.

Do you love fitness and enjoy working in the water? The Dundee Township Park District is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Water Aerobics Instructor to lead engaging and effective classes for our community!

What You’ll Do

• Lead fun and effective water aerobics classes, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.


• Teach proper techniques, explain exercises, and provide modifications for all fitness levels.


• Prepare and organize equipment and music for each class.


• Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere for participants.


• Communicate effectively with staff and patrons to enhance the overall experience.


• Represent the Dundee Township Park District with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Who You Are

• Experience in swimming, fitness, or related activities.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM


• Saturday: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM


• Some weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed.
